Playground Update
This month, on one of our sunnier days, we decided to mark out our playground. We asked everyone what they’d like us to paint on, then put this on to a plan of the playground.

Our Film Premiere!
This was held in March and marked the second part of our filming topic.
A superb night was enjoyed by all parents and many villagers.
The children entertained the audience with music- violin, flute, recorder, voice, keyboard, etc, and then took them through the various stages of filming, from the initial ’spark’ to the end product.
Next, Mary-Lou, a professional film maker, showed the audience how the film was put together from the rushes.
Finally, our two films: ‘Eoghann the Archer’ ( based on a local tale) and ‘The Clearances’ were shown.

We’ve recently completed two films- one based on an ancient tale from Tayvallich, and one based on the Clearances.
